The Burke Museum’s Diversity, Equity, Access, Inclusion, and Decolonization Manager Aaron McCanna and former Assistant Digital Communications Manager Timothy Kenney have created On Our Terms, a 10-part video series with interviews of community members exploring DEIA terms such as decolonization, cultural erasure, and diversity through storytelling. Offering a wide range of perspectives and personal insight, the interviewees ask us to stop for a moment and consider the various ways that people approach concepts that are often reduced to flat definitions.
